Miliie Okada – model, brand adviser, granddaughter of a Dane, Goodwill Ambassador of the Japan-Denmark 150th anniversary and director of Jam of Wonder Co., Ltd. – will open an embroidery exhibition and pop-up shop in Ginza Mitsukoshi (Ginza, Cho-ku) for 14 days from April 26 (Wednesday) to May 9 (Tue).
Millie Okada have been teaching cross-stitch for 10 years and have over 1200 embroidery student followers. Approximately 40 of Okada’s “stitch girls” and DMC embroidery mentors were affected by the Great East Japan Great Earthquake. They recently announced a new embroidered Danish cross stitching work proposed in a style matched with the Scandinavian interior.
Okada will also offer A.C. Perch’s tea, vintage tableware bought from Scandinavian countries and Danish Embroidery kits, aprons, linen aprons and lesson bags for kids that can be used for embroidery.
