Formerly a part of Nippon Sabroe Co., Ltd., the company was founded in 1976 as Nippon Hi-Press by the owner, Westenholz. It changed its name to NOVENCO Nippon Ltd. after the parent company Nordisk Ventilator Co., A/S changed its name to NOVENCO A/S. The ventilation system used in the cruise ship MS Asuka II is a product of Hi-Press. NOVENCO Nippon currently imports high-quality marine equipment, particularly ROCKWOOL insulation. It provides ventilation and air conditioning systems to two AIDA Cruise ships (125,000 tons, built at Nagasaki Shipyard & Machinery Works of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) under Carnival Corporation.
